G. EARL LLOYD OBITUARY

 

Glenn Earl Lloyd II 11/10/54 ~ 1/24/04  Earl Lloyd passed away Saturday, January 24th.  He was born November 10th, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Glenn Earl Lloyd Sr. and LaReta Petersen Lloyd. He grew up in Midvale, Utah and graduated from Hillcrest High School. Earl successfully served a mission to Mexico. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science from BYU. Earl's first priority was his children, and he faithfully attended all their activities. He enjoyed the outdoors, boating, and all sporting events. He is survived by his three children: Alaina Michelle, Brayden Earl, and Alex Hamilton; mother LaReta Lloyd; sisters, Shirley (David) Crocker, Kathleen (Dave) Crocker, Yvonne (Rendell) Etherington, and many nieces and nephews; his fiancé, Hope Hooton, whom he loved and treasured. She gave him such joy and happiness. Earl had a kind, generous heart. He was thoughtful and was such fun to be around. He loved celebrating every birthday and holiday in a big way. Earl, we will miss you! Private services will be held to honor Earl. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at America First Credit Union in his name.
