Born Aug. 13 1955-July 25, 2012

Kenneth Lee Elmer was born in Ogden, UT on Aug. 13, 1955 to William and Verna Elmer.  He has 3 brothers and 4 sisters.  He is 3rd youngest.  He was many things to many people:  Son, brother, Husband, Father, Grandpa or as the grand babies called him Pie Pie (PiPi), Uncle Cnady, cousin, Friend, and of course, Big Daddy.

Kenneth and I married on Nov. 16, 1973.  Yes, 2023 would be our 50th anniversary.  He is father to 3 wonderful children—2 girls and 1 boy, grandfather to 3 boys and great grandfather to one boy.  Yes, he got a lot of Boys.  He was a great DAD who always gave great hugs.  Ask his kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews.

He served in the Navy.  He was a TAR (Training Active Reserves) and trained new recruits on helicopter maintenance.  He was Manager for Intel Corp. (computer chips) and later returned to Federal work with TSA where he retired as a TSA Manager.

He played video games and actually won first place at a galleria we frequented.  Ken was a true gamer.  He loved the challenge and we all know he would never be the one to tap out first.

Ken's family lived in my ward and I had known him since elementary school.  He always seemed like a quiet, sweet boy. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

A very nice tribute, thank you for sharing this.
