Kim L. Brady

Kim Lindsay Brady, age 44, born January 17, 1955, returned to his Heavenly Father October 9, 1999 after a long and valiant fight with leukemia. He bravely fought his way past the many hurdles that came his way during his struggle with courageous humor and a great attitude. He always had a smile for anybody who came through the door. At the time of his death he was surrounded by many members of his large and loving family.

He was born in Murray, Utah, to Mervin Lindsay and Marjorie Elizabeth Cox Brady, the youngest of six children. Kim grew up in the Union area and attended Hillcrest High School. He later attended Dixie Junior College. He was a member of the LDS Church. He married VerNonn Leavitt on November 11, 1978. Three children were born to them, Krystal, Luke and Vern. They were later divorced. Kim was an outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He also enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing pool. But the biggest love of his life was his three kids. He adored them above all else.Kim is survived by his children, Krystal Dawn (Richard) Miller, Luke Kim Brady and Vernon Mervin Brady, all of St. George, Utah; he is also survived by his mother, Marjorie Brady; his brothers, Gordon, Jerry (Betty), Jim (Wanda), Rick (Karen), and his sister, Marilyn (John) Elkins; also many nieces and nephews.
