Bert E Berrett

FARR WEST--Bert Emmett Berrett, 43, passed away Thursday, October 1, 1998, from causes incident to a motorcycle accident.

He was born February 3, 1955, in Salt Lake City to Emogene Leonard and Ellis B. Berrett. He married Sandra Niswander on July 24, 1972, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Bert enjoyed his work as a business manager at Pappas Brick and Stone, a family-run demolition/construction company. He loved boating and riding his motorcycle. He also loved both playing and listening to music, and his two dogs.

He was raised in the Midvale area and later moved to Ogden, where he has lived for the past 14 years.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughter, Sherrie Ann Berrett; four sons, Bert Jr., John, Steven, and Martin, all of Ogden; two grandchildren; mother, Emogene Berrett, Ogden; brother, Monte Berrett, Ogden; sister, Ellene (Richard) de Zeeuw; and his grandmother, Opal Berrett, Kanab. He was preceded in death by his father.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 6, 1998, at 2 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1700 East 10600 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends may call on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden.
